Beautiful New Yard

I am really excited. I don't have a digital camera or I would leave a photo here. I now have a beautiful green yard. I won't even have to worry about watering it. The timer is set and it just goes! It cost a lot but I guess it was really worth it. The cement driveway was worth it too. Wish me luck on not killing the lawn. I certainly cannot afford this again.

Fast Internet Service

Well I got Comcast high speed yesterday. It works great but sometimes I lose my IP address. It's so fast that I cannot believe it. I works through a modem that also works for the phone. I can't believe how fast they hooked it up. They just disconnectd Quest on the pole and connect the cable and then they ran the phone cable to the modem for the computer. They didn't have to rewire anything. And it worked for all four phones in the house. I now have free long distance, call waiting, caller ID, conference calling, blocked number calling etc.

Happy Birthday to Zoe

Zoe is 12 today. She is such a cute and bubbly girl. I just love visiting with her. She was really fun on our Hawaii trip.

So Happy Birthday to Zoe. Hope to see you again sometime soon.

New Yard Soon (I hope)

Well they have been tearing up my yard and putting in a sprinkling system and sod. By next week sometime, I should have a full yard that's nice and green. I haven't had that for so long that it will be so nice. If the weather permits, I want to have people over to celebrate one last BBQ with my new lawn.

And tomorrow if all goes well, I should have Comcast High Speed Internet plus digital voice for my phone. It has free long distance. I am hoping they can make my Internet work because I had trouble with my high speed from before.

Wonderful Short Trip

Tina and I took a short trip to Mesquite Nevada then to St. George and Zion's Park. We had a very good time. I got a rose scrub and wrap at the spa. It felt so good. I felt like I was being wrapped in perfume to be an Egyptian mummy. If I can feel like that when I die, then that would be the way to go. I could have just lain there for hours and gone to sleep. Tina got a facial. We sat in the warm adult pool and ate at a very nice steakhouse. We went to St. George also and saw the musical 42nd STREET. Lots of dancing espcially tap dancing. We also went to Sprindale near Zion's and stayed in a motel and went to the hot tub where we met a 15 year old boy who was so friendly that he talked non-stop. It was funny that a young boy like that would talk so much to older people. He was a cute and funny kid.

We also visited Zion's Park and ate at the lodge there. We wanted to spend another day at Zion's Park but the rain really started down on Saturday. Tina had just gotten back from hiking which was a good thing because there were flash flood warnings after that. We had to come home a day early because of the rain. But it was just so fun. The driving time went so fast because we talked so much to each other that time just flew by. Also, the week before we went to St. George, Beverly and I went to the Desert Star Theater and saw SPAMLET: Based on Shakespear's hamlet only it's spoof. It was fun. We ate pizza and had a good time.

Latest News

I had medical tests and nothing was found to be wrong, except there was something because I had a fever but nothing was found on the tests. Could have been the blood pressure meds I was taking. So I stoped for now. I feel better. I will start again later to see if those symptoms come back. Tomorrow I am going to Mesquite Nevada and to St. George Utah with Tina. It will be fun to get away. Charlie and Tammy helped me hang new curtains in the living room. Matt and Kelly helped me put up new blinds in the bedroom. Kelly did a lot of it herself. I wish I was handy like that! Marty put in a new faucet set for Kathy and John. I am thankful that my kids are willing to help me. I would like to paint my room another color but not just now. Now I am getting a sprinkling system and sod put in my yard in 3 more weeks. It is very costly but my yard will look much better.

I also have taken some of my cable programs off and will by adding Comcast phone and high speed internet. I will be getting more dvd's from Netflix now that I am downgrading my cable TV. They showed a lot of stuff I didn't like anyway and the same things over and over. With Netflix I can choose what I want to watch.

A Long Day!

I am fasting today for a medical test at 3 PM. I am so weak and my mouth is so dry that I hope I can make it until that time. They should only do those tests in the morning!

My Annivesary

Today would have been mine and Alex' 45th anniversay!!

I spent it like I did my 41st, at the Doctor in 2003 when Alex was still here. He had surgery the day before. Little did we know that we should have done something special that day since it would be our last annivesary together.

ENOUGH!

I am so sick of being sick. One day I am just fine, the next miserable. If it isn't a headache and dizziness, it's stomach pain and nausea. Last week I had a very bad pain in my upper right stomach and back. First I thought colitis, but the pain doesn't usually leave with colitis. I got to thinking it may be a gall bladder problem since the pain went away after an hour or so which I read happens with gall bladders. But then the nausea and gas comes. It's off and on; sometimes I am ok and other times like today, I am nauseated all day. I read on the Internet that I have the symptoms of gall bladder problems. But since I also have a history of colitis, I never know if it may be that so I am really consused. I am going to the Dr. tomorrow. If they can't find anything wrong then I guess I am just a hypochondriac. But with the colitis they can't tell anyway if I am not bleeding or if I don't have a colonoscopy.

I don't want to live my life this way. If I can't live life to the fullest, why live? I'm not that sick but sick enough not enjoy life right now. I get to see my sons more often with their new job schedule but not much since they are just here to sleep.
