Another Unplanned Project

The other day I got a letter in the mail from Rocky Mountain Power stating that I had to hire an electrician to move a wire from the electicial box that is too close to the window that is upstairs above the garage. The rules, they say, is that the window cannot have a wire any closer than 3 feet next to it for fear someone will grab the wire if they are climbing in or out of the window. Well, I am here to say, that my grandson and his skanky wife climbed up through that window a couple of years ago and nothing happened to them. (I wish it would have electrocuted that bitch Kristen!) Of course the wire is insulated.

Anyway, I just wonder why after all this time (over 6 years since it was rewired and approved by Orem City) that they are just finding the problem now. So here's another thing I have to pay for. I have 30 days to get it done or at least scheduled. Anyone know a good and reasonable electrician?

Down 19 Pounds

To date, I have lost 19 pounds. I hope I don't gain it back, but I am sure I will on the cruise. But then I will have to get busy losing again when I get back.

Since dieting, I can no longer eat large meals. The portions at restaurants are always too large and filling. I end up bringing it home or having Randy eat which he shouldn't be doing. Wish me luck to keep up the weight loss.

Cherokee and Her Siblings

Congratulations, Cherokee!

I am very proud of Cherokee. She has maintained a 4.0 average throughout all her school years. She is a member of the FFA and won thired place in nursery. She will prbably receive a full scholarship. She will probably also be going to Indianna again to compete. Keep up the good work Cherokee!

Also, Chevy is doing good and will probably start working if I understood it right, for the FFA.

And it looks Contessa and Lorin are soon going to have a real life change experience. Your life will never be the same. But congratulations to both of you.

Easter

We spent Easter with Tammy and Charlie and John and Kathy. We went out to eat at Chuck-A-Rama. Later, Monica and Jay visited and we gave Bella to Monica. She is a cute little dog but was too big a challenge for Randy and me especially with all the cats we have.
Doesn't Randy look cute in that Easter Bonnet?

The Dreaded April 9

Today it's gloomy outside and I can't stop remembering that April 9 5 years ago. It was good Friday then and tomorrow will be Good Friday this year. I will never feel the same about Easter weekend again. My Alex left me on April 9, 2004. He had lots of plans and his life was cut short. But he left a wonderful legacy fro me and his children and family. I miss you Alex.

This and That

I went to the Dr. so he could check my cholesterol. It was down quite a bit since my diet but still a little high. So he put me on low dose Zocor. The prescription said I couldn't have grapefruit or grapefruit juice while on this diet and I love grapefruit. I asked the Dr. and he said it was OK to have grapefruit in the morning and take the drug at night. Apparently grapefruit make the drug stay in the system too long or something.

Also, I have wondered about going to the bathroom so often and he said I had a urinary infection, but I have no symptoms and having to go a lot has been going on for a long time. So anyway, I am on an anti-biotic now. So life is really fun. Randy is on an anti-biotic as well because he has a chest cold. We hope to get better and the weather improve because we want to get out in the yard and do things. We can't wait for our cruise or to go camping.

Photos of Randy's Family

These are some photos of Randy's daughter, Jessica, age 47, granddaughter and great grandson. The guy is Jessica's husband, (he's a biker) Also a photo of Jessica's grandmother and Randy's sister Terri and her family.

The Weather, I hate It! And Bella the Brat

We have so many plans of things we want to do outside, but the weather just won't cooperate. Now Randy is sick with a bad cold from having to take Bella out so many times. Her hours are all screwed up. She has to use the bathroom more in night than in the day. I take her out too if I hear her at night, but she has to sleep with Randy and so she bugs him when she has to go out. Randy gets a chill when he goes out in the cold and then back in the heated house.

We may need to give Bella away to somebody who gets up really early in the morning. We can't put her in the pet taxi or she whines. This is Randy's fault because the first night she slept in the pet taxi and didn't make a sound. But then Randy started letting her sleep in the bed and now she is spoiled.

She is so little she can't jump up to the bed and se we got her some steps to climb up on but she won't use them. I spent $30 on them and that was a waste of money. She is always nagging us to put her up on the bed and then she just jumps down and it starts all over again. Though she is so cute and we love her, she takes a lot time and energy. She has cured Randy of ever wanting another dog.

Her name is Terri. She lives in North Carolina. She is the one in the photo with her husband Joe, her grandson and his girlfriend. And on the 5th it will be my grandaughter Contessa's birthday. She will be 19. So Happy Birthday to all of you.
